The silver Galvatron toy, from Beast Wars II, was one of several prizes in a BomBom Magazine prize campaign. The other prizes included Gold Galvatron, Gold Lio Convoy, Flash Lio Convoy and Black Lio Convoy.

The quantities of the Silver Galvatron toy remained a mystery for some time, then Might Gaine from The Allspark pointed us to a magazine scan on Elvin Pena's website which clearly shows there were 10 Silver Galvatron's given away.

Like the Gold Lio Convoy, there appear to be two versions of the Silver and Gold Galvatron toys, at least from looking at the Beast Wars II Collectors Book which we own. The first version is a chrome toy with black parts, and the other appears to be an entirely gold or silver painted version of the Galvatron toy. Currently (October 2007) we assume the all silver / gold versions are testshots of the Lucky Draw figures, although time will tell.
