Often referred to as Pioneer Primal, Silver Beast Wars Metals Convoy was available via an offer on a Beast Wars Pioneer DVD. The toy, limited to 100, is more talked about than the more limited gold version of the toy for some reason.

Some fans jokingly refer to this toy as Apelinq, as at first you can be forgiven to think that Apelinq is very similar to this toy ... that is until you see them together.

We first saw this toy for sale at BotCon Europe 2003 for 300 pounds, but we had to wait several years before we finally owned one.

The Beast Wars Metals toys are not that expensive to buy but they can be tricky to pick up.
