The gold Galvatron toy, from Beast Wars II, was one of several prizes in a BomBom Magazine prize campaign. The other prizes included Silver Galvatron, Gold Lio Convoy, Flash Lio Convoy and Black Lio Convoy.

Like the Gold Lio Convoy, there appear to be two versions of the Silver and Gold Galvatron toys, at least from looking at the Beast Wars II Collectors Book which we own. The first version is a chrome toy with black parts, and the other appears to be an entirely gold or silver painted version of the Galvatron toy.
